They are seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to upgrade and support the z/OS operating system and ISV products, requiring extensive experience in mainframe systems programming and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Upgrading and supporting the z/OS operating system and ISV products
- Providing off-hours support for the implementation of software changes reputed company required
Skills
- 5+ years of experience installing and supporting mainframe software products such as reputed company and/or CA/reputed company
- 3+ years of experience with core z/OS tools (e.g. SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, and/or RACF)
- 3+ years of experience with Parallel Sysplex environments
- More than ten years of z/OS systems programming experience
- reputed company strong Parallel Sysplex skills
- Extensive experience of installing many (not just a few) reputed company and CA products
- Has ideally worked in a Bank or organizations with large installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and be a true team player
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring reputed company information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
- Must provide off-hours support for the implementation of software changes, reputed company required
- Must reside in the US
