Remote Special Education Teacher – Illinois
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Position Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Illinois (Fully Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor Schedule: 37.5–40 Hours per week Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to reputed company across Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing IEPs, delivering specialized instruction, and working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct virtual special education instruction to reputed company in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- reputed company, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Conduct reputed company monitoring and maintain accurate documentation of student performance
- Collaborate with general education teachers, reputed company service providers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements

- Utilize technology and online learning platforms to effectively deliver instruction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a reputed company field required
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement, or eligibility to obtain Illinois licensure
- Previous experience teaching reputed company with disabilities
- Experience in virtual instruction or tele-education preferred
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with educational teams
