Responsibilities
- Prepare patient charts according to clinic protocol
- Accompany providers in scheduled patient visits (virtually)
- Document patient history, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plans
- Assist in tracking quality metrics and ensure accurate documentation
- Enter lab and radiographic study orders as instructed by the provider
- Input medication orders as dictated by the provider
- Print and organize patient instructions as needed
- Review completed charts with the provider between patients or at the end of the shift
- Maintain and update provider and clinic preference documents as necessary Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
- Education: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (minimum 3.0 GPA); candidates without a degree should have at least one year of full-time scribing experience Education Requirements
