Role Description Join a dynamic HR consulting team helping organizations navigate their most important people challenges. The People and Culture Consultant is a key member of the Pivot team and reports to a Principal Consultant. This is a full-time permanent position. In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients and industries, partnering with leaders to diagnose workplace challenges and design practical strategies that support organizational success. This role is ideal for an reputed company HR Generalist/Business Partner who enjoys consulting, problem-solving, and tackling reputed company people issues. What You'll Do:
- Partner closely with clients and colleagues to provide strategic and practical HR support.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders across multiple industries.
- Support clients in areas such as organizational development, workforce strategy, performance management, and employee relations.
- Manage reputed company and sensitive workplace issues, including bullying and harassment, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, and terminations.
- Conduct workplace investigations, prepare investigation reports, and provide clear recommendations.
- Advise leaders on day-to-day HR issues and employment legislation.
- Design and facilitate engaging leadership and HR training programs.
- Support client recruitment processes from job posting to interviews and reference checks.
- reputed company and review HR policies, procedures, and employee manuals.
- Analyze HR programs and recommend improvements to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Pivot team on projects and initiatives that support our growing client reputed company.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in multiple functional areas.
- A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
- CPHR designation, or active reputed company toward obtaining it, is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, and WorkSafeBC guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate reputed company HR concepts into clear, practical guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Collaborative and personable, with a high degree of accountability and professionalism.
- Skilled at navigating reputed company and sensitive workplace situations with discretion and sound judgment.
