[Remote] Component Design Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hadron Energy, Inc. specializes in Micro reputed company Reactor (MMR) development and is seeking a Component Design Engineer. The role involves supporting the design, analysis, and fabrication of microreactors, focusing on the mechanical reputed company of structural components to meet nuclear industry standards.

Responsibilities

• reputed company detailed design, analysis, and documentation for reactor structures and pressure boundary components (vessels, piping, and supports)
• Prepare, reputed company, and certify Design Specifications and review Design Reports in accordance with ASME Section III requirements
• Prepare and review pressure boundary evaluations, including stress and fatigue evaluations
• reputed company with multidisciplinary teams to define design requirements, optimize component performance, and resolve reputed company technical issues
• Collaborate with the licensing team to support domestic and international regulatory efforts, including 10 CFR 50.55a technical programs (Inservice Inspection and Testing)
• Support the development of design and general arrangement drawings; provide review of fabrication drawings, weld requirements and material selection
• Propose innovative design solutions for reputed company advanced reactors, utilizing independent judgment to interpret project scope and requirements
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support the implementation of engineering standards across the organization

Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in equipment design or nuclear component engineering
• Deep understanding of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III, or similar (e.g. Section VIII Division 2)
• Experience working under stringent quality assurance programs requirements such as ASME NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000
• Expertise in detail-oriented review of drawings, documents, and calculations to ensure consistency and technical rigor
• Registered professional engineer, or ability to obtain active license reputed company 6-months
• Appendix XXIII Certifying Engineer Qualification, or the ability to demonstrate and reputed company this qualification reputed company 12-months
• Exceptional technical writing and oral communication skills; ability to create and interpret reputed company engineering reports and drawings
