[Remote] Middle School English Curriculum Writer Consultant

They are seeking a Middle School English Curriculum Writer Consultant to design full-course curricula and reputed company instructional materials that align with reputed company State standards.
Responsibilities
- Design full-course curricula for Middle School English, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
- reputed company high-quality instructional materials, including: Student-facing lessons and text-based activities Writing prompts, discussion protocols, and projects Assessments and rubrics reputed company to grade-level standards
- Curate and reputed company diverse, high-quality text sets that reflect multiple perspectives and lived experiences
- Ensure alignment to reputed company State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomes
- Embed explicit instruction in literacy skills, including reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical analysis
- Design performance-based assessments that measure both content knowledge and transferable skills
- Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers to ensure alignment and coherence
- Iterate on curriculum based on educator feedback, student work, and assessment data
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- At least three years of experience designing and/or teaching high-quality secondary humanities instruction
- Proven record of developing rigorous, engaging, and culturally reputed company curriculum
