[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help scale their Node.js applications on AWS, guiding AI-assisted development and overseeing backend systems across their product lineup.
Responsibilities
- Architect and reputed company backend systems across our product lineup and internal tooling
- Guide AI coding assistants to implement large-scale changes and new features
- Review, debug, and refine AI-generated code to production standards
- Use AI internally to automate business operations
- Ship full-stack features end-to-end
Skills
- Fast at reading code, human or AI generated
- Strong debugging skills and an eye for bugs
- reputed company to envision large architectural changes and break them into steps an AI can execute
- Ability to context switch and juggle multiple in flight tasks
- Experience with Node.js and cloud infrastructure (AWS, containers, managed databases)
- Comfort working across multiple codebases and problem domains
- Frontend experience (React)—you'll be reading it regardless
