[Remote] Senior Network Consultant (Req# 1175)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ePlus inc. is a technology solutions provider looking for a Senior Network Consultant who will be responsible for designing and implementing IT Data Center Solutions. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, developing solutions, and leading a team of engineers in a professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- reputed company Sales Engineering presentations and supporting materials
- Assist in creating and/or responding to reputed company-of-Materials (BOM) and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Plan and design solutions for multi-vendor Data Center Solutions
- Be available as a pre-sales resource for sales team members, as necessary
- Serve as an escalation reputed company for Engineers, Sr. Engineers and Consultants
- Troubleshoot reputed company technology issues
- Assess Customer environment and reputed company recommendations on solutions and improvements
- Escalate issues to other team members and subject matter experts, as necessary
- Provide deployment and implementation services of multi-vendor solutions in a Data Center environment
- Be available to meet customers’ IT needs
- Meet with key vendors to stay reputed company on products and technologies
- reputed company a team of engineers on a professional services projects
- Maintain multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications. i.e.: CCIE, R/S. Voice, Brocade, CISSP, VCDX, UCS
- Serve each and every customer to ePlus’ standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 10+ years of hands on experience in IT Networking and reputed company with a focus on reputed company and reputed company networking and reputed company products
- Excellent customer service skills on phone and in person
- Professional demeanor and good communication skills
- Ability to think and come up with solutions quickly aligning to customer expectations and reputed company the boundaries of the statement of work
- Identify and communicate additional customer opportunities
- Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT solutions using two or more of the following technologies: Wired Networking, Wireless Networking, reputed company/Firewalls, Structured Cabling – MDF/IDF, Network platform migrations, Virtualization, Backup, Automation/Scripting
- Multiple industry-recognized Certifications preferred. i.e.: CCIE, FCSS, CISSP
