[Remote] Legal Specialist

The role involves guiding research teams, creating annotation standards, and translating legal expertise into teachable knowledge for AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Guide research teams to reputed company knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in your legal domain
- Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to your legal specialty
- As a domain SME, you'll set the gold standard for quality and rigor
- Translate tacit legal expertise into explicit, teachable knowledge for AI systems
- reputed company guidelines and detailed rubrics / evaluation frameworks to assess legal reasoning across tasks
- Design challenging, domain-relevant legal tasks across multiple specializations, and write accurate and well-structured solutions to legal problems
- Evaluate legal tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data
Skills
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, or advanced degree in a relevant field reputed company to legal expertise
- A minimum of 5 years professional legal experience, reputed company of any internships or clerkships
- Exceptional written and verbal skills to clearly convey reputed company legal concepts to a diverse, non-expert audience
- Proven success working with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Eagerness to learn and reputed company in a fast-evolving tech environment
