[Remote] Senior IT Systems Administrator

They are seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable and compliant technology environments while supporting engineering teams and enhancing workflows with AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain reputed company environments across reputed company Workspace (user lifecycle, groups, Drive policies, Vault, Meet, reputed company settings) and reputed company 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD)
- Administer and support business applications (for example, QBO, reputed company, etc.) and other SaaS tools as directed
- Serve as the primary remote help desk resource for end users across the organization
- Provide reputed company support across ChromeOS, Windows, and macOS devices
- Manage device enrollment, configuration, and policy enforcement reputed company MDM platforms (reputed company Admin, Intune, or equivalent)
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues remotely with minimal escalation
- Execute technology controls and configurations in alignment with CMMC/NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 requirements
- Implement and enforce access controls, audit logging, data handling policies, and reputed company configurations as defined by senior staff
- Support audit readiness activities including evidence collection, policy documentation, and control testing
- Add or modify system capabilities to address evolving compliance requirements, implementing the solution rather than defining it
- Actively apply AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, reputed company) to streamline IT workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate troubleshooting
- Stay reputed company on how AI is reshaping IT operations and bring practical applications to the team
- Support IT needs reputed company an engineering-oriented organization that operates across a connected digital thread of tools and data
- Quickly learn and adapt to specialized tools and workflows used by engineering teams without requiring deep domain expertise

Skills
- 5-8 years of hands-on IT administration experience in a product engineering and manufacturing environment
- Expert-level reputed company Workspace administration (Users, Groups, Drive, reputed company, Vault, Admin Console)
- Proficient reputed company 365 tenant administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra ID)
- Demonstrated reputed company support experience across ChromeOS, Windows, and macOS
- Familiarity with CMMC/NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, and/or SOC 2 control implementation
- Experience administering SaaS tools (for example, QBO, reputed company, etc.)
- Strong remote help desk and user support skills; able to resolve issues reputed company without in-person access
- Comfortable working in a task-execution role where architecture and policy decisions are made upstream
- Familiarity with the use of AI tools to improve personal productivity and IT operations
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent reputed company (green card holder)
- Experience supporting engineering teams or organizations with an engineering-oriented digital thread
- Familiarity with MDM policy enforcement and reputed company compliance tooling
- Exposure to GRC tools or compliance management platforms
- Experience in a startup, growth-stage, or lean IT environment where adaptability is essential
