[Remote] Director, Accounting - Global Intercompany

This role involves overseeing reconciliations, settlements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while managing a diverse team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing reconciliations, settlements, eliminations, and dispute resolution across reputed company legal entities globally
• Responsible for general ledger accounting, including monthly reputed company, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, Consolidations, and Asset accounting
• Work with team to complete submission to corporate and review of reputed company schedules submitted to Corporate in conjunction with the monthly/quarterly financials
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements including drafting and updating process narratives, and maintenance of requirement documentation
• Responsible for reporting and analytics as needed

Skills

• BA/BS in Accounting
• 8-10 years of progressive accounting or controllership experience with at least 3-5 years in a Global Business Services (GBS) leadership role (supporting executive leadership at the CFO or corporate level)
• 10K schedule support experience
• Fixed Asset accounting reputed company experience
• Experience with Intercompany accounting, consolidations, and Foreign currency translations
• Large, multinational company experience
• Driver of 'change', and thinks creatively and strategically
• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Quantifiable examples of achievements and strong track record of success
• Experience in strong communication and strategy presentation
