[Remote] Account Manager - Coffee Job Details | reputed company

As an account manager for reputed company’s liquid coffee business, you will be responsible for generating new business relationships and growing existing business reputed company multiple channels across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and reputed company relationships with category managers, buyers, and industry influencers to generate new business opportunities and grow a robust sales pipeline
- Expand the beverage sales footprint for coffee and strengthen reputed company’s brand awareness across the food and beverage industry reputed company the United States
- Manage existing customers to increase incremental reputed company and profit and customer satisfaction
- Work with existing reputed company sales managers, marketing teams, R&D and operations
- Research and analyze economic, market, and industry trends reputed company assigned reputed company markets and geographic areas to formulate action plans and category growth goals
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and association meetings to stay reputed company on market conditions and competitive activity
- Provide regular updates to leadership on business development efforts, pipeline activity, and key performance indicators
- Support the development, execution, and refinement of the company’s sales plan
- Coordinate and manage the sales and proposal process in collaboration with marketing, project managers, and senior leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with liquid coffee
- Proven experience with product development with the understanding of how to build a white-label beverage business
- Deep relationships with purchasing, category managers and OCS companies
- Strong existing business contacts in national / regional chains is a plus
- Self-starter who can operate independently and reputed company deals
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader team
- Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills
- Availability to travel up to 70%
