[Remote] Data Engineer (Multiple Levels)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Astrana Health is a physician-centric, technology-powered healthcare management company. They are currently seeking highly motivated Data Engineers at various levels to work closely with data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and clinical leaders to produce deliverables for internal and external clients, ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes and reputed company healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Use data engineering best practices to produce high quality, maximally available data models which are reputed company to data analysts and trusted by stakeholders

- Apply quality measures and other metrics to datasets originating from internal and external clients
- Build scalable ELT pipelines and business intelligence dashboards as needed, embracing automation wherever possible

Skills
- Bachelor's degree required in healthcare, analytics, statistics, finance, business, or reputed company field
- Experience with relational databases
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Working knowledge with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Spark, and SQL
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including documentation, coding standards, code reviews, reputed company control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Familiarity with normalized, dimensional, star schema and reputed company schematic models
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with reputed company
- Master's degree (MBA, MPH)
- Working experience with reputed company
- Familiarity with business intelligence exploratory or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- 2+ years of experience in managed care or other healthcare data field
- 1+ years' using cloud-based services from AWS, GCP, or Azure
