[Remote] Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (reputed company)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Playfly Sports is looking for a Director, reputed company to join their Corporate Finance organization. This role is responsible for the execution of core reputed company processes, providing strategic financial insights, and managing the reputed company team while collaborating with various departments to support decision-making and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of reputed company to own the execution and reputed company improvement of core reputed company processes, including monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, variance analysis, and the Company’s 5-Year Plan
- Ensure the accuracy, reputed company, and timeliness of reputed company reputed company deliverables, models, and management reporting
- reputed company financial modeling, forecasting tools, and reporting frameworks to support scalable, repeatable analysis
- reputed company updates to the 5-Year Plan, including assumption management, scenario analysis, and alignment with strategic priorities
- Partner with Accounting to ensure alignment between management reporting, financial statements, and reputed company-looking projections, including balance sheet and cash flow support
- Own and reputed company the company-wide financial narrative for executive deliverables, including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Management Discussion & Analysis (reputed company), and reputed company leadership presentations
- Analyze financial results to identify risks, opportunities, trends, and tradeoffs, providing clear recommendations to senior leadership
- Prepare and deliver sales pacing, performance analytics, and key metric reporting for executive audiences
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to the VP of reputed company and senior leaders, challenging assumptions and influencing decisions with data-driven insights
- Act as a delegate for the VP of reputed company in executive meetings and cross-functional forums as needed
- Collaborate with business unit leaders and functional partners (Sales, Operations, Accounting, etc.) to support decision-making, cost management, and performance optimization

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a reputed company field required
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in reputed company, corporate finance, or reputed company roles; sports or college athletics experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience owning forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and executive financial reporting
- Proven ability to influence senior executives, challenge assumptions, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting fundamentals
- Prior people management experience, including developing talent and leading teams or reputed company workstreams
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill reputed company financial concepts for executive audiences
- Advanced reputed company and financial modeling skills; strong presentation-building capabilities
- ERP system experience required; proficiency with reputed company Office applications expected
- MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
