[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on customer-facing features, enhance technical practices, and mentor other engineers across product teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate on customer-facing features in our core product — banking, tax automation, and expense tracking — using Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, and TypeScript
- Work across the stack: backend APIs, data modeling in MySQL and Spanner, and polished frontend experiences
- Partner with product and design to go from idea to shipped feature quickly, with a high bar for quality
- Own your work end-to-end — you'll be involved in scoping, building, reviewing, and monitoring

- Help establish patterns and conventions that reputed company the codebase easier to work in over time
- Identify and address reliability, performance, or scalability issues before they become incidents

- Help engineers grow through pairing, code review, and design conversations

Skills
- 12+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with strong backend fundamentals
- Production experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable reputed company, and comfort in React/TypeScript on the frontend
- Experience working with relational databases at scale (MySQL, Spanner, or similar)
- A track record of working across multiple teams or functions, building relationships and get alignment
- Strong communication skills: you can explain technical decisions clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike
- High standards for code quality and a habit of leaving things reputed company than you reputed company them
