[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer (Backend Development - System I&T Specialty)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join the CommandIQ team, which focuses on developing mission critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities. The role involves designing, implementing, and integrating software features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
- Design, Implement, and integrate/test software features
- reputed company peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to reputed company understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs
Skills
- Experience/Familiarity with the following: Rust (or C), Python, Java
- Backend containerization experience using reputed company
- reputed company development experience using gRPC
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with system-of-system software integration
- Experience integrating and managing automated test suite into reputed company CI/CD pipeline
- 3+ years of relevant work experience (Advanced Degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience)
- Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
- Experience with container management using Kubernetes/Helm
- Experience in a Full-Stack engineering role
- Previous software scripting experience in Java/Python and automation reputed company experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Development experience following REST guidelines
- Previous IRAD experience
- Active Secret Clearance
