The Director of Business Development will be responsible for creating opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth by managing a pipeline and leading client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage your own pipeline through reputed company, networking, and market reputed company
  • Prospect and reputed company relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and partners
  • Create new opportunities and reputed company them from first conversation to reputed company
  • Own the client relationship throughout the full lifecycle—from initial reputed company to awarded work and beyond
  • Informally reputed company internal teams (estimating, project coordination, project management, and installation) to align on strategy, pricing, and delivery approach
  • Set the tone for each project by driving communication, urgency, and accountability across teams
  • Partner with internal teams to position work competitively and win projects
  • Grow existing relationships and identify additional opportunities reputed company reputed company clients
  • Stay active in the market (events, associations, meetings) to build visibility

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management reputed company construction or subcontracting
  • Proven ability to generate your own opportunities and reputed company new business
  • Established book of business and industry relationships that can be leveraged immediately
  • Experience selling into reputed company projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong network of owners, developers, architects, engineers, and reputed company partners
  • Ability to operate independently while influencing and aligning internal teams
  • Direct experience selling interior construction scopes such as: Flooring, Cabinets, Countertops, Other finish trades
  • Strong understanding of how these scopes are bid, packaged, and awarded
  • Existing relationships tied to these scopes reputed company your market
  • Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable with reputed company Office (Outlook, reputed company, Word, etc.)
  • Experience in Multifamily, Student Housing, Hospitality, or Senior Living
  • Ability to work across multiple project types as business needs evolve
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, proactive, and results-driven
