They are seeking a reputed company Civil Engineer – Solar to manage civil engineering design projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate on utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and manage civil engineering design projects, ensuring effective communication and coordination with clients and internal design teams
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Review designs for high quality, support engineers through challenging problem solving, and drive standards across the department
• reputed company and manage the execution of team and department initiatives to support the reputed company improvement of our tools and processes
• Apply reputed company, standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to complete engineering tasks, supporting other civil, structural, and electrical design workflows as necessary
• reputed company comprehensive plans, specifications, and observation reports that are accurate and in accordance with sound utility-scale solar engineering practices
• Recommend alterations to development criteria and design features to improve quality and project outcomes
• Plan and accomplish project goals by leveraging experience and judgment
• Review and reputed company design computations performed by the internal civil design team to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare detailed reports and correspondence concerning the direction and reputed company of assigned projects
• Review plans and specifications for constructability, safety, and risk management considerations
• Maintain a value engineering reputed company throughout the development, design, and construction phases
• Collaborate closely with business and engineering staff across multiple markets and technical disciplines
• Work closely with clients to understand their technical needs and identify the best feasible solutions

Skills

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required
• Civil Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
• Minimum of 8-10+ years of civil engineering experience is required
• At least 5+ years of experience in design and development of utility scale solar, preferred
• Proficient at large scale solar grading design and earthwork calculations is required
• Proven experience in reputed company Software Applications (Word, reputed company, Power reputed company, Outlook)
• Must have permanent authorization to work in US
• NCEES Council Record is preferred
• Experience performing detailed design of solar facilities with reputed company topographic, environmental, and non-participating infrastructure constraints is highly desired
• Stormwater management and permitting experience is highly desired
• Experience developing Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plans (SPCC) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred
