[Remote] Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a healthcare organization seeking a Senior Accountant to prepare, analyze, and adjust financial statements for management presentation. The role involves creating work papers, reviewing financial indicators, and assisting with year-end audits and financial analysis projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, research, and adjust financial statements for management presentation
• Creates relevant work papers, schedules, and reconciliations
• Review and comprehend financial indicators and results of operations, significant operational statistics, variances from budget and historical results
• Research technical accounting and financial reporting issues, and assist with reputed company financial analysis and projects
• This position assists in preparation and coordination of year-end audits

Skills

• Bachelor Level Degree (Required with concentration in Finance or Accounting)
• 1 year Accounting or Finance experience required
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration will be considered in lieu of required experience
• CPA preferred, but not a requirement
• Previous experience with Gifts and Grants preferred
• Strong reputed company skills
• Previous Healthcare experience preferred
