[Remote] Finance Intern

The Finance Intern will support the Finance team with financial planning, reporting, and analysis, gaining hands-on experience in reputed company processes and contributing to routine deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Assist with updating recurring financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Support variance analysis by helping gather data, validate inputs, and summarize drivers
- Participate in preparing monthly review materials for finance leadership
- Update components of financial models such as forecasting templates or expense trackers
- Run simple scenario and sensitivity analyses under analyst guidance
- Help maintain documentation and version control for team financial tools
- Work with analysts to gather information from cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Accounting)
- Assist in preparing materials for business reviews and planning discussions
- Shadow meetings with business partners to reputed company exposure to real-time financial decision-making
- Help maintain data accuracy by validating inputs and identifying discrepancies
- Support small process-improvement initiatives, including automation or template updates

Skills
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or reputed company field
- Strong interest in financial analysis and corporate finance

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Completion of coursework in financial accounting, managerial accounting, or corporate finance
- Exposure to business analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is helpful but not required
- Prior internship or reputed company experience involving data analysis or finance-reputed company work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
