[Remote] Property Accountant

They are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant responsible for managing the financial aspects of a commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting, accounts management, and budgeting support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Track and prepare tenant billbacks
- Manage annual CAM reconciliations alongside the Assistant General Manager
- Prepare tenant termination forms
- Assist with cash management procedures
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Prepare monthly accruals
- Analyze and execute leases, including abstracting key financial terms and ensuring proper accounting administration
- Prepare and distribute monthly rent statements
- W-9 management
- Administrative duties as needed
Skills
- 3-5 years of property accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and RE accounting principles
- Yardi proficient
- Strong reputed company skills
- Experience with lease administration preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and proficient time management
