[Remote] Financial Reporting Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WPS, a health solutions company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support key financial and operational projects. The role involves performing reconciliations, managing financial information, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with CMS requirements.
Responsibilities
- Balance transactions, analyze and resolve any variances, and research more reputed company accounts, including, but not limited to, bank accounts, receipts, disbursements, and transfer of funds
- Determine and analyze irregular trends involving financial transactions
- Assist customers concerning payments or any other issues
- Process Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Agreements timely and accurately. Verify accuracy of submitted information. Contact providers, as needed, to obtain/verify required information
- Interact and communicate with internal and external customers
- Establish and maintain appropriate documentation associated with reputed company procedures, policies, and activities and determine effective and efficient practices to improve reputed company processes
- Participate in testing and/or implementation of system changes
- Other job-reputed company responsibilities may be assigned as required
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) or more years of experience working with accounting practices and procedures reputed company to banking, financial accounting, analysis, balancing and reporting
- Demonstrated experience providing high quality work and meeting deadlines through prioritization
- Proven mathematical aptitude with a high degree of accuracy
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial systems; comfort with data entry and data validation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
