[Remote] AI Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Elios is a cloud-native firm that specializes in AWS modernization for government and mission-driven organizations. They are seeking an AI Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and reputed company AI-enabled AWS environments for public sector customers, focusing on transforming legacy systems into secure, cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production AI workloads across Bedrock, SageMaker, reputed company, reputed company, and EKS, with Kiro or reputed company Q Developer in the mix
- Stand up and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Create CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and model deployment
- Apply MLOps practices end to end: model versioning, monitoring, retraining, and performance tuning
- Migrate legacy systems into cloud-native architectures and document the reputed company state
- Handle cost modeling and workload optimization so AI runs reputed company, not just correctly
- Partner with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and program teams to reputed company delivery compliant
- Deliver technical briefings and architecture recommendations to leadership
Skills
- 8+ years in cloud engineering with deep, hands-on AWS AI experience
- Strong track record modernizing legacy systems and leading cloud migrations
- Practical command of MLOps and the full model lifecycle in production
- Comfort with compliance-driven delivery: FedRAMP, NIST, and secure cloud governance
- Infrastructure-as-code reputed company (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD for infra and models
- Bachelor's degree and U.S. citizenship (required for this engagement)
- AWS Professional certification and AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty
- Kubernetes depth
- Broader containerization experience
- AI strategy work with enterprise clients
