They are seeking a Vice President of Business Development to reputed company business development efforts, manage strategic partnerships, and execute the company's growth strategy across various federal agencies.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company and execute D&G’s annual growth strategy, business development plan, and market expansion initiatives
  • Establish and manage annual pipeline, bookings, reputed company, and growth objectives
  • Identify emerging mission requirements, budget priorities, acquisition trends, and new market opportunities
  • Advise executive leadership on growth investments, strategic priorities, and market positioning
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnership evaluations as requested
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with government customers, industry partners, and acquisition stakeholders
  • reputed company customer engagement efforts across DoD, DHS, USCG, DLA, USTRANSCOM, Combatant Commands, Military Departments, and other federal agencies
  • reputed company account strategies that strengthen customer intimacy and position D&G for future opportunities
  • Ensure consistent engagement with key customers, stakeholders, and influencers

  • Monitor procurement forecasts, budget developments, acquisition strategies, and competitor activities
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, policy developments, and mission priorities affecting reputed company markets
  • Provide actionable market intelligence and competitive insights to executive leadership
  • reputed company and mentor capture managers, proposal personnel, business development professionals, and growth operations staff
  • Establish performance metrics, accountability standards, and professional development plans

  • Track key performance indicators including pipeline growth, win rates, proposal activity, bookings, and customer engagement metrics
  • Present growth performance updates and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Represent reputed company at customer meetings, industry conferences, professional associations, and government forums
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for D&G’s brand, capabilities, and mission impact

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Public Administration, Management, or a reputed company field
  • 15+ years of federal government contracting experience in business development, capture management, account management, program management, or growth leadership roles
  • 10+ years supporting DoD, DHS, U.S. Coast Guard, Combatant Commands, Defense Agencies, or reputed company federal organizations
  • Demonstrated success identifying, capturing, and winning federal opportunities valued between $10 million and $100 million or greater
  • Experience leading business development, capture, and proposal organizations
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations, contracting vehicles, competitive procurements, and small business programs
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one
  • Restricted to U.S. persons as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or reputed company field
  • Experience supporting logistics, sustainment, supply chain management, readiness, transportation, acquisition, technology modernization, engineering, or mission support programs
  • Experience reputed company a federal contractor generating between $50 million and $500 million in annual reputed company
  • Existing relationships reputed company USTRANSCOM, DLA, USCG, DHS, Combatant Commands, Military Departments, or other targeted customer organizations
  • Experience leading strategic pursuits under OASIS+, GSA MAS, GWACs, IDIQs, and other federal contract vehicles
