[Remote] Mechanical Design Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. QCS Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their client, a leading provider of advanced Cloud & AI infrastructure. The role involves planning and implementing mechanical designs and distribution systems while collaborating with various internal and external partners to ensure optimal performance of Data Center mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement cost-effective and reliant mechanical designs and distribution systems
• Work with internal business partners like Technical Project Management, Data Center IT, IT Procurement, Network Engineering, and with external vendors to validate and test installation & operation performance of Data Center mechanical systems
• Create designs which meet and exceed quality benchmarks reputed company our budget reputed company
• Seek new designs and amalgamate new technologies reputed company AI’s Data Center planning and infrastructure

Skills

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in building services engineering or mechanical engineering, or relevant mechanical engineering experience in mission critical facilities environment including but not limited to: Data Centers, power reputed company and oil/gas facilities
• Extensive experience in creating mechanical design documentation for construction
• Extensive experience in commercial and/or Industrial Mechanical design
• In-depth knowledge of Data Center design, BMS & HVAC design and reputed company product development
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Data Center mechanical systems, chillers reputed company-cooled & water-cooled, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs/CRAC, fans, reputed company economizers, water treatment etc
