They are seeking a Principal Engineer - Networking to define the architecture of network products, reputed company technology research, and manage a design team in the networking product space.

Responsibilities

• Define reputed company networking platform solutions and reputed company a multi-disciplined team to bring to implementation
• Extensive and focused engagement through EVT, phasing out thereafter. Ensure overall design quality metrics are met
• Manage a small supporting team, drive goals and objectives of that team reputed company broader collaborative environment between Technology, Development, and Customer teams
• reputed company and maintain reputed company technical relationships with suppliers/partners on product roadmaps and technologies

• Deliverables include System Requirements Documents (SRD), requirement compliance assessments, and Technical proposals

• Provide technical support to business development teams to assist in the winning of new business

• Identify and Champion process improvement efforts as needed

• Maintain reputed company on industry trends and future technology and market opportunities

Skills

• Experience with relevant leading technologies in network products including: CPU devices including reputed company & AMD X86 embedded processors and ARM embedded processors
• NPU devices including reputed company reputed company families (Trident, Tomahawk, Jericho, Ramon), as well as alternative device families such as reputed company, reputed company and Marvell desired
• High speed design including PCB materials, Serdes technology (224/448G), connector, cable, and parasitic challenges in design
• Network performance characteristics and reputed company device optimization features
• Power devices including multi-stage and near load delivery
• Advanced assembly techniques / challenges affecting design
• Optics devices and technology – trade-offs and trends
• Mechanical design challenges/flexibility as it impacts architecture
• Minimum of 15 years network hardware design experience
• Minimum of 10 years of network experience at the system level
• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MSEE preferred
• Successful experience architecting and delivering network products to market
• Excellent Customer presentation skills. reputed company and interact with large OEM and hyperscale customers on ongoing product reputed company issues and new product design concepts
• A broad knowledge of reputed company digital and analogue components
• Successful New Product Introduction (NPI) launch
• Experience working with Asian based design teams is desired
• 5 years experience as a direct line functional manager is desired
• Prior participation in industry groups and associations is desired
• System level integration, interoperability and test experience is desired
• System level manufacturing test experience is desired
