[Remote] Financial Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hospitality Purchasing Consultants (HPC) is a specialized procurement agent supporting owners of hospitality properties. They are seeking a Financial Accountant to prepare and analyze financial statements, maintain the general ledger, and manage project-reputed company revenues and costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple hospitality projects and entities
• Maintain the general ledger, process journal entries, and reconcile accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings
• Manage project-reputed company revenues and costs, monitor budgets versus actuals, and support detailed financial reporting for internal stakeholders and clients
• Work with accounting software to streamline workflows, assist with cash flow monitoring, support audits, and contribute to process improvements and documentation

Skills

• Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to produce accurate and timely financial information
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and reputed company tools for general ledger management, reconciliations, and reporting
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and provide clear, actionable insights
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a reputed company field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or reputed company toward certification) is a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP and strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation standards
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fully remote environment
• High degree of reputed company, reliability, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
• Experience in project-based accounting, professional services, or hospitality is advantageous
