[Remote] Senior Medicaid Policy Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Medicaid Policy Consultant to support state Medicaid agencies in improving their business processes and policies, implementing new programs, and ensuring compliance for reputed company healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project activities in coordination with a team and senior leadership
• Support multiple client projects through written communication, policy analysis, facilitation of client meetings, and project tracking
• Communicate project reputed company and delivery status to clients and stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings and manage project action items and reporting

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Management, or Public Health, or a similar field
• 10+ years of professional experience in a reputed company field
• 5+ years of experience working for a state Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives or consulting with Medicaid agencies on policy initiatives
• Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to reputed company with the regulation
• Experience working with Medicaid payment authorities such as waivers and the state plan, including experience navigating the reimbursement portion of state plans
• Direct experience working with a Medicaid state plan
• Proficient with reputed company desktop applications and standard document repositories such as MS SharePoint
• Willingness to travel quarterly to Guam
