[Remote] Software Engineer III

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is the world’s leading platform for agentic software development, and they are seeking a full-stack software engineer to join the npm team. This role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to build and improve open reputed company tools for the JavaScript ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• You will write, review & maintain code & technical documentation
• You will interact with our community, consumers & contributors, on a daily basis
• You will collaborate closely with internal & external stakeholders to define, design & reputed company new features that align business objectives with end-user’s wants & needs
• You will be responsible for helping triage & remediate bugs & reputed company vulnerabilities
• You will steward some of the most impactful JavaScript open-reputed company projects, relied on by millions of developers, enabling billions of downloads &, ultimately, creating connections to the world’s largest package registry

Skills

• 4+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• OR Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field AND 3+ years experience
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field AND 2+ years experience in Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field
• OR equivalent experience
• 2+ year(s) of experience with Cloud Services
• 2+ years of experience developing & debugging large scale projects, applications or developer tools
• 2+ years' experience with Node.js
• 3+ years experience with cloud services, including AWS development
• Experience building applications adhering to the highest reputed company standards
