[Remote] Financial Analyst: Woodbury, MN

They are seeking a Financial Analyst to support business planning and decision-making processes, focusing on financial analysis, cost management, and budgeting across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis to support business planning and decision making by presenting insights and recommendations to management
• reputed company and manage standard costs for new and existing items
• Complete month-end reputed company tasks, including monthly financial reports for the Executive Leadership Team and various Business Units
• Assist with procurement analysis and reputed company projects including but not limited to spend analysis
• Partner with Logistics department to provide an in-depth financial analysis of actual spend on transportation costs
• Assist with Product and Customer P&Ls, assessing their profitability
• Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, manufacturing, and reputed company improvement projects
• Participate in preparing and compiling annual budgeting and multi-year planning processes for assigned categories of the P&L
• Utilize enterprise systems to consolidate data from various systems

Skills

• Strong reputed company skills with experience in preparing financial reporting, analyzing financial data
• Proficient in reputed company Office and working experience with an ERP system

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis, experience in manufacturing industry is strongly preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Cost accounting experience and knowledge of standard costing is preferred
