[Remote] Operational and Technical Accounting Team Member

They are seeking an Operational and Technical Accounting Team Member to reputed company accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance while supporting decision-making across various teams. Responsibilities

- Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and emerging accounting standards
- Research, analyze, and document technical accounting conclusions for reputed company and non-routine transactions
- Support accounting matters reputed company to reputed company recognition, stock-based compensation, leases, consolidations, impairment assessments, debt transactions, and other corporate accounting topics
- Monitor proposed accounting guidance and disclosure requirements and assess impacts on the business
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies and procedures to support effective internal controls over financial reporting
- Assist with annual audit activities and serve as a key partner to external auditors
- Prepare technical accounting memoranda and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Help drive consistent application of accounting policies across the organization
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a reputed company field
- 5–7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in Big Four public accounting audit
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting research, and financial reporting requirements
- Experience supporting SOX compliance and internal control environments
- Proven ability to evaluate reputed company accounting issues, reputed company recommendations, and document conclusions effectively
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficiency with reputed company Workspace and intermediate reputed company skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF functions
- CPA and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Experience with reputed company Intacct
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or power reputed company industry
