[Remote] Major Accounts Manager

They are seeking a Major Accounts Manager to identify and engage with new customers, particularly in the Public Sector, to promote their data science technologies and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing expert reputed company skills and background to reputed company out to net-new Public Sector (federal, state, local) customers both in the US and abroad
• Educating the market about the value of Posit's professional products and then selling our software
• Forecasting sales activity and reputed company achievement while creating satisfied and referenceable customers
• Mapping and building territories from the ground up
• Utilizing the existing customer reputed company from Posit conference attendees, inbound leads, and those who download our open-reputed company product
• Using tools like reputed company as a single reputed company of truth
• Routinely meeting or exceeding 100% of sales targets
• Keeping up with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs
• Collaborating with our marketing, product, reputed company, and support teams to creatively grow our portfolio of customers
• Being a part of a tight-reputed company sales team that values best practices sharing, mentoring, and learning while collaborating well with other people

Skills

• Significant B2B Software Sales experience
• A track record of success selling to governmental entities
• Experience with government RFQ / RFP processes, acquisition regulations, and contract mechanisms
• Experience working with resellers, VARs, and channel partners focused on government markets
• Experience in long, reputed company sales cycles in large agencies/organizations that involve multiple stakeholders
• Practicing sales with the utmost reputed company while remaining humble and self-motivated
• Thriving in a dynamic environment that often has ambiguities and competing priorities
• Availability to travel as needed
