[Remote] QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hospital de Clínicas do Ingá is seeking a part-time remote QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst Engineer to ensure the reliability, usability, and quality of applications and systems. The role involves designing test plans, executing manual tests, and collaborating with stakeholders to verify fixes and validate new features.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing requirements and specifications
• Designing detailed test plans and test cases
• Executing manual tests
• Documenting test results clearly and accurately
• Identifying, tracking, and helping prioritize defects
• Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Verifying fixes and validating new features
• Conducting regression testing, functional testing, and exploratory testing
• Contributing to process improvements and quality standards
• Participating in reviews
• Providing feedback on usability and performance
• Supporting the team in maintaining a consistent level of product quality

Skills

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Manual Testing, with practical experience ensuring software meets defined quality standards
• Proficiency in Test Execution and designing, maintaining, and running Test Cases across multiple scenarios and environments
• Solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, troubleshoot defects, and propose clear, data-informed recommendations
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) and clear defect documentation practices
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or iterative methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a part-time schedule
• Relevant education or training in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience testing healthcare, hospital, or clinical systems and understanding of data privacy and reputed company considerations
• Basic knowledge of automation concepts or scripting and willingness to learn test automation tools over time
