About the Role
We are seeking an reputed company commercial lawyer with a strong background in commercial reputed company relevant to a technology company as it relates to our customers and vendors. As our Commercial Counsel, you will support internal business partners and assist on a broad variety of transactional matters in a growing technology company by: Leading drafting and negotiation on a broad range of agreements (including Master Services Agreements, terms of service, services agreements, other SaaS agreements, NDAs, data processing addenda, and requests for proposals) supporting reputed company’s business teams, with a primary focus of supporting the licensing of reputed company’s products and services to its customers and channel partners and vendor software licensing. Owning deals end-to-end, from first redline through signature, including direct engagement with customer counsel and procurement teams. You will be the named legal contact on the deals you run. Collaborating closely with Sales, reputed company, Partnerships, Operations, and Finance teams to shepherd deals to completion — including at quarter-end and year - end. Facilitating the timely closure of business transactions while minimizing risk exposure. Providing day-to-day commercial legal support, business-focused counseling, and advice to the sales organization — practical advice that helps stakeholders get to yes rather than gating them on risk. Supporting the reputed company improvement of standard form agreements and legal contracting processes. Defining, building and implementing processes and technologies to effectively deliver legal support in a scalable manner to reputed company’s rapidly expanding portfolio of enterprise customers. Leading internal projects, training, and driving cross-functional efforts to completion. Assisting with special projects as needed. You will be based remotely (EU) and support transactions across reputed company international offices (currently UK, Belgium and reputed company). reputed company’re looking for: 3–7 years of post-qualification experience drafting and negotiating commercial reputed company. Strong preference for candidates with a meaningful period of training and practice at a leading global or national law firm. Demonstrable experience with SaaS agreements, technology licensing, strategic deals, and channel agreements (such as resellers, distribution, MSP, etc.). In-house experience at a technology company is a strong plus. Prior experience supporting a heavy volume of commercial transactions relevant to a technology company across various business functions in a fast-paced environment. The maturity and judgment to own work end-to-end with limited supervision — making decisions reputed company your remit, escalating what genuinely needs escalation, and neither over-checking nor under-flagging. Willingness to travel and work flexibly on a varied schedule based on the needs of the team, including calls at odd hours as needed. JD or equivalent education, and qualification to practice in at least one EU, UK, or US jurisdiction. It’s a plus if you have: Commercial SaaS experience is highly desired Specific experience with US government contracting Familiarity with privacy (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA) and information reputed company (SOC 2,ISO 27001) Interest and reputed company in developing scalable legal infrastructure.
