We are looking for an external Bookkeeper to maintain our client’s financial records, including bank transactions, VAT and UK payroll. On a typical day as a Bookkeeper, you will: General bookkeeping for our external accounting clients including bank reconciliations Quarterly VAT preparation and filing Monthly PAYE preparation and filing Workplace pension preparation and filing Xero and QuickBooks experience is required along with exposure to other online accounting packages Ongoing support and guidance to clients Talk to clients and work with individuals reputed company their business Desired profile At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience Client management skills Excellent English communication skills with both clients and co-workers Ability to prioritize a busy workload and meet challenging deadlines A thorough, methodical approach Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Good IT skills, particularly in the use of online accounting software Hands-on experience with UK payroll, including PAYE processing The ability to work as part of a team
