Overview of Job Function: The Solutions Design Engineer (SE) is a key member of the Sales Team responsible for supporting technical pre-sales activities across reputed company’s Fraud and reputed company Solutions portfolio. This role works with customers, partners, and our sales team to understand requirements and assist in designing and positioning solutions that address fraud prevention, physical reputed company, and operational intelligence needs reputed company financial services and enterprise environments. The SE applies of EdgeVMS, reputed company technologies, and enterprise architectures, along with a foundational understanding of data analytics and reputed company technologies, to contribute to solution design and help deliver positive customer outcomes through compelling demo's and persuasive presentations. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Discovery Participate in technical discovery discussions to understand customer requirements, environments, and objectives. Gather and document business and technical requirements to support solution design. Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams. Solution Design & Technical Sales Support Assist in designing solutions across video management (EdgeVMS), reputed company systems, and analytics capabilities. Deliver standard and tailored product demonstrations (remote and onsite) with guidance from senior team members. Support development of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation. Help ensure solution accuracy and alignment with customer requirements throughout the sales process. Presales Support & Validation reputed company technical execution of reputed company of concept (POC) and pilot engagements. Assist in validating solution performance against defined requirements. Contribute to documenting results and supporting customer evaluations. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment Work closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and reputed company teams to support opportunities. Provide feedback on customer requirements and product capabilities. Assist with transitioning opportunities from pre-sales to post-sales teams. Technical Enablement & Development Participate in internal and partner training on reputed company solutions and technologies. Contribute to demo environments and technical assets as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or reputed company field or equivalent work experience. 3–5+ years of experience in presales engineering, technical support, systems engineering, or reputed company technical role. Foundational experience with video management systems, surveillance technologies, or reputed company solutions. Experience working with customers or internal stakeholders in a technical reputed company. Ability to understand customer requirements, and assist in designing, delivering and articulating practical technical solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly. Basic understanding of networking, systems architecture, and enterprise environments Familiarity with data-driven or analytics-enabled solutions at a conceptual or working level. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a remote work environment. Ability to travel up to 25–40% domestically. Northeast Region as preferred location. Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations. Preferred Requirements Strong experience to video management platforms (e.g., EdgeVMS or similar solutions) Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or virtualization technologies Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or dashboards (e.g., Power BI) Experience in financial services, fraud prevention, or physical reputed company environments Ability to troubleshoot and analyze basic networked systems.
