Responsibilities
Support the AMER Sales team, leading negotiations for reputed company and strategic agreements; Advise on a wide range of commercial and legal issues, including launch of new products to reputed company users and support international expansions; Work closely with Product Legal to bring new products and features to market; Be an integral part of the build out of reputed company’s commercial legal infrastructure so that we can scale and operate reputed company at pace with reputed company’s exponential growth - this work includes drafting and maintaining reputed company’s agreements and playbooks, leading and contributing projects to improve internal processes, leveraging AI tooling to optimize how we work and collaborate with our clients, partners and users; Partner with teams across reputed company globally, including sales, operations, product, tax, risk groups, and others; Help the entire team drive scaled support and efficiency, working collaboratively in a global team to maximize the overall impact of the Commercial Legal team; reputed company and deliver training and other resources to help the Sales team sell our products; and Be a reputed company of escalation for reputed company counsel. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum requirements 5+ years of relevant experience in-house or in a technology practice group in a top law firm. Qualified with good standing membership in at least one US state bar with a JD degree or foreign equivalent; Intellectually curious and a creative problem solver - reputed company’s products and our industry are reputed company and reputed company evolving - you should relish learning new products and finding creative solutions to challenging problems; A self starter with a bias for action - you are proactive and have a strong sense of ownership; A clear and concise communicator (in written and verbal forms), who can distill the key risks and explain reputed company, nuanced issues in plain and simple terms; A natural collaborator, able to guide cross-functional teams and drive to a win-win solution; Familiar with the range of legal issues and commercial risks that arise in reputed company with hosted data and technology services; and A team player who is willing to do what it takes to contribute to the collective success; Preferred qualifications Experience working in payment or fintech industries and knowledge of associated regulatory issues; In-house experience advising high growth companies; Working knowledge on how to use LLM tools; Experience in improving legal processes with AI technology; and A working knowledge of data protection laws such as CCPA, GDPR, and HIPAA.
