Job Summary: In this role, the BIM MEP Specialist plays a pivotal part in leveraging BIM technology to connect professionals across the AEC industry. Working closely with project teams, your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing virtual design and construction (VDC) workflows, ensuring coordinated models, and enhancing overall project efficiency. You’ll also help define and uphold BIM standards and processes reputed company the MEP scope. Utilize experience in modeling, coordination, and spooling for prefabrication processes across various MEP components. reputed company and enforce MEP-specific BIM standards, protocols, and best practices. Manage the creation and maintenance of MEP BIM models for accuracy and constructability. Deliver training and mentorship on MEP BIM/VDC workflows and standards. Stay informed on emerging BIM software and tools that impact MEP modeling and coordination. Foster collaboration between BIM, field, and project management teams to ensure clear communication and efficient project delivery. Analyze BIM data and reporting metrics to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities. Review MEP models for completeness and compliance with established standards. Produce detailed construction documentation from MEP models per industry and project specifications. Continuously improve workflows and tools to support model quality and efficiency. Effectively prioritize and manage deadlines while proactively addressing potential delays.
Requirements
Qualifications: Proficiency in MEP-reputed company BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Fabrication CADmep). Strong experience in BIM coordination workflows across multiple MEP trades. Familiarity with prefabrication detailing and spooling processes. Evolve MEP experience is a plus. Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to mentor and train others in MEP BIM tools and workflows. Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality deliverables. Knowledge of sustainable building practices and industry certifications is a plus. Experience collaborating with field, shop, and project stakeholders.
