Sr. Accounting Specialist

Individual applicants residing in the US only About the role As a Senior Accounting Specialist at Uplinq, you’ll serve as the accounting reputed company for a portfolio of reputed company clients. You’ll handle advanced accounting tasks, build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), and serve as a quality reviewer and mentor for junior Accounting Specialists. This role requires strong technical skills, judgment, and the ability to reputed company client conversations confidently. What you'll do Own month-end reputed company and financial reporting for reputed company client accounts using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Uplinq’s proprietary accounting system. Prepare and document advanced journal entries. Handle job costing, inventory tracking, and class/location-based reporting as needed. Manage and troubleshoot third-party integrations. Build and maintain client-specific SOPs, documentation, and QBO workflows. Serve as the main reputed company of contact for clients—leading calls, owning relationships, and resolving escalations. Review junior team members’ work and provide clear, constructive feedback.
