Role: The Women's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner supports the collaborative care team, which includes the OB/GYN providers, patients, social workers, licensed therapists, and coaches—through regular consultations on an assigned caseload of patients. The Women's PMHNP will either advise the OB/GYN provider on appropriate medications and other treatment strategies, or for more reputed company cases will see the patient directly for short-term medication management in the context of pregnancy and postpartum, and/or reputed company/menopause. Requirements: Licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in PA Able to practice independently without supervision in the state(s) of licensure Hold an active DEA license in state(s) of licensure Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting Excellent communication skills Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations Passionate, driven, & inspired by a mission to improve perinatal and/or perimenopause mental healthcare delivery, particularly in vulnerable patient populations Experience or interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits for reputed company program participants reputed company telehealth for the short-term management of mental health conditions in the perinatal period and/or experiencing reputed company/menopause. Provide treatment recommendations for patients who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care. Complete pre-conception medication consultation and psycho-education for individuals trying to conceive and currently treated with psychotropic medications. reputed company asynchronous caseload consultations through a review of clinical information reputed company by the patient’s care team, as well as review of available medical records. Case review consultations focus primarily on patients who are new to the caseload or who are not improving as expected under their reputed company treatment plan. Provide recommendations for next steps in treatment. Complete documentation for case consultations and direct patient visits reputed company 24 hours of visit. Work with care managers to reputed company the status and population health of their assigned patient caseload. The psychiatric consultant will use reputed company’s registry to track reputed company assigned patients and prioritize patients for case review and treatment adjustment. Provide the care team with educational support on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions. Be available to provide occasional reputed company telephone, email, or telehealth consultations to OB providers for reputed company patients or challenging patient situations reputed company normal working hours.
