The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor-in-Residence of Cybersecurity, Lee Business School [R0150760]. ROLE of the POSITION The Department of Information Systems (IS) in the Lee Business School (LEE) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for one 9-month, non-tenure track Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor-in-Residence position in the area of Cybersecurity. reputed company teaching load for a non-tenure track position is 4 courses (12 credits) per semester, and two semesters per year. The position requires teaching online-only undergraduate courses in cybersecurity offered by the department. The cybersecurity programs at UNLV are interdisciplinary and involve faculty from the Lee Business School Information Systems Department and the College of Engineering, primarily the Computer Science Department. The undergraduate cybersecurity program is under the direction of the Director of Cybersecurity, who oversees both the undergraduate and MS Cybersecurity programs. This directorship rotates between the departments. A candidate with a terminal PhD degree will be considered for the title of Assistant Professor-in-Residence. A candidate with a master’s degree and significant experience will be considered for the title of Senior Lecturer. A candidate with a master’s degree but without significant experience will be given the title of Lecturer.
