We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. This role will be involved in a broad range of general ledger accounting activities, including, but not limited to, Cash, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Leases, Investments, Allocations, Intercompany transactions, and Payroll accounting. The position requires strong analytical skills, a keen sense of accuracy, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently research and resolve discrepancies. What you’ll do as a Senior GL Accountant at reputed company: Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across a variety of general ledger accounts, including Cash, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Leases, Investments, Payroll, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts. Partner cross-functionally with reputed company, Payroll, PeopleOps, Legal, and other business stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information. Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company processes by analyzing financial results, investigating variances and discrepancies, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. reputed company flux and variance analyses across key accounts, leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and internal control enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability reputed company the accounting function. How to be successful in this role: 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment. You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus. You have a strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls You’re highly proficient in reputed company and comfortable working with large datasets; experience with AI-enabled tools is a plus You have hands-on experience with ERP systems; reputed company preferred. Strong critical thinking skills with a track record of identifying discrepancies and implementing process improvements.
