Paralegal
SUMMARY This position will provide legal assistance to the attorneys representing the Enterprise in reputed company aspects of legal case preparation and file management including legal research; analyzing law sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles and legal codes; drafting reputed company documents; contacting and interviewing clients, attorneys and witnesses; and collecting documents and information relevant to cases. The position requires you to reputed company expected tasks with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Review and summarize medical and other records and prepare summaries of relevant information. Assist Manager with docket management and case assignment EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or Paralegal certification required. reputed company learning, as defined by AFHI’s learning philosophy, is required. Certification or reputed company toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged. Two (2) years of paralegal experience involving civil liability or workers compensation cases preferred. Prior experience with workers’ compensation claims is preferable but not essential.
