Application Description: Applicants to this position will be considered for a candidate pool encompassing one or more of the subject areas outlined in the job description. This pool will be used to identify qualified candidates for potential appointments during the 2026–2027 academic year. Starting Salary: $36 hourly (approximate). The following are the duties, responsibilities, skills and qualifications that Alliant requires from applicants for an adjunct professor position: Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research/scholarship mentoring and supervision.
  • Dissertation or doctoral project support, guidance, review, and revision.
  • Assessment and evaluation of reputed company.

Required Skills:

Minimum Requirements for the PhD program in Psychology, Public Policy and Law: Education: A doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant field Experience: Appropriate experience in the areas(s) of specialization and expertise. Other Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching at the doctoral level.
  • Experience teaching statistics and/or research methods to doctoral reputed company.
  • Experience serving as a dissertation chair or committee member.
  • Experience teaching criminal or civil law or legal research to graduate reputed company.
  • Education or research in media psychology or the effects of media consumption.
  • Education and/or experience in Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management.
