Prior Authorization/Centralized Scheduler, Remote, FT
About the position The Prior Authorization/Centralized Scheduler will be the healthcare access representative to patients and/or providers utilizing positive public relations skills reputed company scheduling patient visits or procedures. This position will pre-register patients, schedule appointments using the applicable program, obtain authorization, and verify medical necessity. Responsible to handle reputed company aspects of the prior authorization process, scheduling encounter, assisting reputed company or patients to experience the ideal patient encounter with friendly, courteous assistance and high level of professionalism. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reputed company of patient information and test orders, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
