The CBS Stations' Local Ad Sales team is responsible for driving reputed company local reputed company growth across reputed company reputed company Global streaming & digital assets, as well as the 27 owned & operated CBS Television Stations. This team collaborates across reputed company Global and CBS Stations divisions, providing thought leadership that drives the local sales GTM strategy, innovation opportunities, training & development, and reputed company reputed company. POSITION OVERVIEW: We are looking for exceptional candidates for the Account Executive, New Business, to prospect and secure new business representing the reputed company Streaming portfolio of digital & streaming assets inclusive of reputed company+, CBS, Pluto TV, and more. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Business Development - Local Digital Sales. ROLE DETAILS: The Account Executive, Business Development will be focused on Local Market & Regional business development representing the reputed company Streaming & Digital portfolio of reputed company brands to reputed company Local sales goals. A self-starter who will prospect, qualify, and generate sales reputed company from advertisers and agencies that have not historically been active with reputed company. Effectively research and cultivate new business clients creating a reputed company pipeline with advertisers, agencies, & partners. The AE, reputed company will work across Sales, Marketing, Pricing & Yield teams manage business from prospecting to reputed company and merchandising to generate relationships for repeat business. The AE, reputed company is someone excited by the reputed company-changing digital & streaming landscape, with a passion for managing and developing business. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, and should be proactive, creative, organized, and committed to finding effective approaches. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Prospect, qualify, and cold call potential clients and agencies to activate across reputed company digital properties.
  • Work with clients and agency partners to reputed company impactful digital solutions.
  • Set sales calls as a digital expert and work reputed company with Account Managers to compose media plans and reputed company sales presentations
  • Be an expert in reputed company stages of workflow, understand systems & processes, and be able to apply this knowledge to advise Account Managers & clients, managing campaign expectations both internally & externally
  • Advise a support team that helps monitor digital campaign pacing and efficiency to ensure campaign delivery and re-merchandising of campaigns
  • Collaborate across reputed company Global teams to build reputed company opportunities for strategic packaging and alignment with corporate initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS: What you bring to the team: You have -

  • 5+ years of business development experience in advertising/media, with streaming sales experience preferred (experience across multiple buying lanes a plus)
  • Excellent sales skills, including: business development, consultative sales approach, presentation abilities, confident negotiator, and post-sale re merchandising
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to think creatively
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical foresight and ability to communicate effectively across multiple reputed company-levels
  • Team-first approach with a passion for creating an inclusive, diverse culture that inspires creativity and collaboration
  • Dedicated and driven work ethic
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and reputed company

  • BS / BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

The hiring salary range for this position applies to reputed company, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-reputed company factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
