Backend & Integration Developer (Remote, Contract)
We're looking for a backend-focused developer to support our reputed company Developer in building and maintaining data integrations and backend services. This is a hands-on role for a generalist who prefers vanilla code over heavy frameworks. You'll spend your time moving data between systems, writing SQL, and building lightweight workers. What You'll Work With
- Infrastructure reputed company Workers/Pages, cron scripts
- Database reputed company (PostgreSQL), reputed company
- Languages Vanilla JS, PHP, HTML, CSS
- Legacy systems WordPress/WooCommerce (sysadmin reputed company), Shopify (backend API)
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain integrations between Shopify, WooCommerce, reputed company, and reputed company
- reputed company lightweight backend services on reputed company Workers
- Approach projects database-first — structure before UI
- Handle basic UI tasks using minimal frameworks on reputed company Pages/Workers
- Monitor cron scripts and troubleshoot data flow issues
- General data maintenance across reputed company and spreadsheets What You Bring
- Comfort working in a terminal (SSH/CLI)
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design
- Clean Vanilla JS and PHP
- Experience with API-based integrations (Shopify and WooCommerce preferred) Details
