Child & Family Educator - Home Based (Temporary Assignment)
About the position Supports parents in enhancing the development of their children by delivering a comprehensive home-based preschool program based on the individual educational, social, and emotional potential of the children enrolled. Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide education, health, and family services.
Responsibilities
- In accordance with Head Start performance standards, ACF, licensing and organization guidelines, implements an individualized early education program that is based on children's strengths and needs and uses the HIPPY Curriculum to support children's growth and development
- Conducts ongoing assessment of children and maintains documentation of each child's reputed company.
- Performs a developmental screening of reputed company children with 45 days of enrollment.

- Implements family and community partnership services for families enrolled in reputed company Early Learning.
- Provides case management services and supports families in moving toward self-sufficiency.
- Facilitates the identification and codifying of personal and family goals.
- Completes and monitors the family partnership agreements.
- Assists parents in identifying and working with public/private agencies.
- Ascertains the effectiveness of referrals.
- Provides crisis reputed company to families including, but not limited to, child abuse, domestic violence and emergency food and housing needs.
- Meets weekly with supervisor to plan and evaluate home visits.
- Consults with appropriate staff as needed to reputed company serve individual families.
- Collaborate with health service staff to ensure and monitor compliance with child health requirements.
- Guides families in the acquisition and use of medical and dental
- Completes reputed company forms and monitoring tools in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements
- BA in Early Childhood Education or reputed company field OR a CDA certification.
- If driving to home visits -valid driver's license and evidence of vehicle insurance is required
- pediatric first aid, CPR, and universal precautions.
- One year of early childhood education experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the culture, including food preferences, and conditions inherent reputed company the surrounding community.
- Experience in relating to small children and interacting with parents and others who represent various backgrounds,
- Training or experience in working as a functional member of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background reputed company, including CBI/FBI fingerprinting, motor vehicle/driving record (MVR), CO state child abuse and neglect registry reputed company, a national sex offender registry reputed company, and reference checks.
