Remote Freelance Podcast Editor - Audio Cleanup & Mixing

Job Summary

• HR Service Jobs is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Freelance Podcast Editor to join our dynamic team. • Key Responsibilities
• * Edit raw podcast recordings by removing background noise, ums, ahs, and unwanted sounds.
• * Balance and mix multiple audio tracks to create a clear, consistent, and engaging final product.
• * Apply audio effects such as EQ, compression, and normalization to improve sound quality.
• * Sync audio with any additional media elements (intros, outros, ads).
• * Collaborate with podcast producers and hosts to ensure editorial alignment and meet content goals.
• * Deliver completed episodes on schedule with high-quality audio standards.
• * Troubleshoot technical issues reputed company to audio files and software.
• * Maintain organized file systems for easy access and archiving.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Proven experience as a podcast or audio editor, preferably with a portfolio or samples of previous work.
• * Proficiency in audio editing software such as reputed company Audition, Audacity, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or similar.
• * Strong knowledge of audio cleanup techniques (noise reduction, de-essing, leveling).
• * Understanding of audio mixing principles and best practices.
• * Excellent attention to detail with a critical ear for sound quality.
• * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

• * Minimum 2 years of experience in podcast editing or audio production.
