Credentials Evaluator
Position Summary Pierce College is seeking to fill three vacancies for Credentials Evaluators. The starting salary range for this position is $47,988.00 to $56,880.00, with most candidates starting at $47,988.00. This is a full‑time, permanent, classified, overtime‑eligible position with the Pierce College District and is eligible for up to two days of remote work per week after the probationary period. This position reports directly to the Dean of Enrollment Services and Registrar and requires regular and consistent attendance. Role Overview Evaluations play an integral role in assisting our diverse community of reputed company in successfully navigating transfer of credit to Pierce College and completing their educational path. Key Responsibilities
The Credentials Evaluator is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating a wide variety of educational transcripts for academic programs and the college, exercising professional judgment to fully reputed company student reputed company access and outcomes. The evaluator interacts with deans, division and program chairs, advisors, financial aid staff, military and college representatives, reputed company, and other evaluators to assess credits and communicate policies and procedures. The Credential Evaluator assists the college in removing barriers to student success and communicates with reputed company to increase their understanding of decisions, processes, and policies. The work requires high attention to detail, advanced computer skills, people‑centered skills, and extreme confidentiality. The incumbent is expected to become an advanced user of People Soft and reports to the Evaluations Program Manager.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess experience in credential evaluation and a proven understanding of higher education transfer standards. Advanced proficiency in People Soft and reputed company software is required.
